TEXAS July 14th, 2020 Germinator Mobile Sanitizing and Disinfecting, a broad-spectrum sanitization, disinfection and deodorization provider with unique extended protection, is proud to announce that it has been awarded a vendor contract with TexBuy Purchasing Cooperative, a statewide purchasing cooperative hosted by Region 16 Education Service Center in Amarillo, Texas.

Germinator Mobile Sanitizing and Disinfecting Secures TexBuy Vendor Contract for Up To 62 School Districts in Texas
TexBuy Purchasing Cooperative is the Texas representative of the Association of Educational Purchasing Agencies (AEPA), a national non-profit organization whose members share the common goal of saving public agencies money. AEPA represents the buying power of 29 states and 25 million students across the country. Germinator was among a select few companies specializing in sanitization and disinfection to be awarded with the exclusive contract, which enables them to service school districts across the Texas Panhandle and the entire State of Texas. The Texas Panhandle consists of 62 school districts and two charter schools with 226 campuses in a 26,000 square-mile area.

"We are excited to work with TexBuy Purchasing Cooperative to provide our high-quality sanitizing and disinfecting services to hundreds of schools across the state of Texas," said Jeff Gill, CEO of Germinator. "As we approach the new school year, there are still many unanswered questions regarding how to safely navigate reopening and exactly how and when that will happen. We want to do our part in helping to create safe environments for students and staff and provide a sense of assurance during these difficult times."

Quote from Germinator CEO Jeff Gill on TexBuy Vendor Contract
Germinator recently opened franchises in Lubbock and Amarillo with plans to open more locations throughout Texas in the coming months. The company provides a 100% safe and non-toxic sanitizing and disinfecting process, utilizing breakthrough technology scientifically proven to help reduce the spread of harmful bacteria and viruses similar to the novel coronavirus. Since February, the company has embarked on 19 new franchises in 11 states. With its national expansion, Germinator has provided businesses and residents a way to safely navigate reopening amid the pandemic.

Germinator utilizes a two-step process to sanitize and disinfect surfaces as well as provide long-lasting protection against odor-causing bacteria, bacteria which cause stains and discoloration and fungi such as mold and mildew, and algae. The first step - Genesis - harnesses the power of hypochlorous acid (HOCl) to destroy bacteria, mold, mildew, viruses and odors caused by bacteria. HOCI is a non-toxic, near-neutral pH, hospital-grade sanitizer and disinfectant. The second step applies the Germinator's Shield - an invisible microbial coating that protects surfaces for an extended period of time against the growth of mold, mildew and odor-causing bacteria. Both products are EPA registered and safe for humans, pets and the environment. The company's highly trained field specialists employ best practices using electrostatic sprayers and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as appropriate.

Upholding the highest standards of sanitization and disinfecting, Germinator makes claims that are scientifically supported and within EPA regulations. Germinator's research and process are validated by the Germinator Scientific Advisory Board. The board is made up of key leaders such as Dr. Roscoe M. Moore, Jr - who was an Assistant to the United States Surgeon General for five administrations - and Dr. David Miller, the Protocol Chair of University of Rochester Center for AIDS Research Community Advisory Board.

Dr. Miller, supports Germinator's process by saying, "The Germinator Genesis platform and the Shield microbial barrier application are at the forefront for facilities' remediation of infectious diseases. This allows patients, providers, consumers, and commuters to have a high degree of confidence in the facility's safety, which is an absolute necessity during the current COVID-19 pandemic."
